Guild Wars 2 Announces New Upcoming Sixth Expansion: Visions of Eternity

Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds has officially concluded, as the fifth expansion comes to an official closing. Though that's it for the Isles of Janthir, ArenaNet isn't done yet with its famous MMORPG, and the team has announced the sixth expansion.

Officially, Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity has been announced for players looking forward to continue their journey. Continue the narrative with your character as you venture into a brand-new location, as the seafarers of Tyria whisper rumours about fabled islands: Castora.

There's a wealth of new content to be explored, as ArenaNet sets a pretty clear expectation for the upcoming DLC. Here's what you need to know about Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity:

• Explore a brand-new location in Castora to unravel a new story.
• Two new playable maps for players to venture into, finding new foes and environments to interact with.
• A brand-new Homestead plot.
• New and upgraded abilities for the skimmer mount.
• A new elite specialisation for all ofthe nine professions in the game.

Much like Janthir Wilds, Visions of Eternity will feature three major content updates throughout the year to continue expanding on what was already available. Already announced is a new raid encounter and group content for groups of 10 players that will arrive in future updates, alongside new Legendary gear to unlock and work towards.
