Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Makes a Profit in 3 Months

Developer Ninja Theory only released there title Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice a few months back but it has now been confirmed to have started making a profit.

The game, released around three months ago, has recently passed 500,000 copies sold across both PlayStation 4 and PC. This means that the game has now made back its development costs and is creating a profit for the developers. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was revealed a few years back with the company promising a solid gaming experience at half the length, and price, of a standard triple-A title. Following the announcement made on Twitter about the new milestone, the company has clearly done just that.

In the video released alongside the news, Dev Diary 30, the team mention how they will look at other ways to raise awareness of the title and promote it to gamers. Not only that but they are thinking about the future and though no concrete plans are set, they want Hellbalde's legacy to live on.

During these three months it is worth noting that for one day of sales Ninja Theory donated all the sales of the game to Rethink Mental Illness. This one day alone saw the company raise an impressive £60,798.80.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
