Hi-Rez Studios bring you SMITE Rivals

Hi-Rez Studios is launching a new iteration of SMITE in the form of SMITE Rivals, for all intensive purposes a look alike to Clash Royal in terms of design choice. Whether or not they take a unique spins wasn’t really shown in the Official Reveal Trailer, featuring three lane combat, deck building with your God and series of minions, structures and spells.

To be available for mobile devices and desktop, not much information was given in the trailer. But was interesting to note was the animation segments, will this be part of the game or something Hi-Rez is working on the side? No information was given on the microtransactions of the game or how it'll be monetised, with the game being Free to Play. But considering their past record it seems to be a safe bet for the game to not be an inherent money sucker.

The game looks promising mechanically, currently in pre-alpha, with an asterisk of art not final. The game features rewards for players from their other franchises such as cosmetics shown in the video.
