Highly Acclaimed Farthest Frontier Launches Out of Early Access on Steam
Crate Entertainment's Farthest Frontier has been in Early Access for a while now, and it's been a huge success for the team. This city builder 4x strategy game has seen a total of 16 major updates and a total of 1.2 million copies sold — it's safe to say it's been a successful Early Access period, and likely more to come with its full launch.
It's been three years of development, as the team incorporated all sorts of changes, with 29 different additions added, with many more that haven't been mentioned! Now that Version 1.0 is here, the arduous release journey concludes, and with this new update, more additions come to Farthest Frontier!
Here are a few of the changes being added in Farthest Frontier Version 1.0:
- Revamped progression system with new 142-point Tech Tree to ensure players get even more freedom to customise their runs.
- Dozens of new buildings, decorations, and landmarks have been added.
- The highly requested Bridges system has been implemented to aid with waterway traversal.
- A new Policy System to give even more agency.
- Updated animations.
