Humble Bundle has been Bought by IGN
The charity-supporting digital distribution service and game publisher that has been providing gamers with deals and bundles for years has announced it is joining the IGN family.
Announced on the website's blog, Co-Founder and CEO Jeffrery Rosen, gave the news that the Humble Bundle team would be joining the IGN family. The move has been met with some raised eyebrows but as mentioned on the blog, the partnership will allow Humble Bundle to bring more to their customers.
"We chose IGN because they really understand our vision, share our passion for games, and believe in our mission to promote awesome digital content while helping charity. I can’t think of a better partner than IGN to help Humble Bundle continue our quest."
Humble Bundle will continue to work as they are with no real change but the added support from IGN should allow the company to create bigger and better bundles then ever before.
"We will be working harder than ever to bring you the best gaming bundles, book bundles, and store sales, while nurturing the Humble Monthly and our new publishing initiative. We will keep our own office, culture, and amazing team with IGN helping us further our plans. We will raise even more money for charity."
There are currently a number of bundles on the site including the the Humble RPG Maker Software Bundle, the Humble Stardock Bundle and the Humble Endless RPG Lands Bundle too.
