Invariant Announced With a Brand New Teaser Trailer

Faros Interactive, co-founded by Josip Makjanić (a developer who has worked on titles such as Serious Sam and Skywind), has proudly announced Invariant. With a freshly published Steam page and a new teaser trailer, Faros Interactive plans to combine tight combat mechanics, intelligent puzzles, and a compelling narrative to create this Half-Life-inspired FPS.

In Invariant, players will take on the role of a scientist in the '90s, sent to the famous Nabla Station to research a possible energy source beneath the Antarctic ice. However, before you can do anything, the station AI goes rogue, and there are mysterious sounds that are emerging from the tunnels beneath. The problem: all of this is right by the massive drill, ready to dig.

With a combination of basic tools and powerful weapons, you'll need to navigate the labyrinthine halls beneath the winding, icy tunnels. There, you'll be pitted against rogue AIs, curious creatures, and some progressively-deranged colleagues as you seek to uncover the secrets beneath.
