Jay and Silent Bob Game Announced
Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes along with the crew at SmodCo have teamed up with Interabang Entertainment to bring us Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch.
A new 2.5D multiplayer side-scroller beat 'em up featuring Kevin Smith fans favourite foul-mouthed pot smoking convenience store loiterers Jay and Silent Bob.
Kevin and Jason will voice their characters alongside a host of others who have appeared in Kevin's other works including: Mallrats and Chasing Amy. And I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin's Babble-On brother Ralph Garman also makes an appearance with his four impressions.
The game will also be set within the View Askew-niverse - a fictional universe created by Smith featured in almost all of his movies. Although not mentioned, but this could well be the videogame sequel to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
It is currently being funded through fig.co, which is another crowdfunding site the same as Kickstarter, so tier rewards are available. The game has a goal of $400,000 and as of writing currently sits at just over $50,000 with 36 days left.
For more information check out the announcement video above from the jersey-wearing weed smoking man himself: Mr Kevin Smith. If that's convinced you then the visit the fig page here for more and to back the project.
