Kickstarter game of note: Sacred Agony

Horror games are always a troubling thing to do correctly. Many horror games can fall flat on their faces and they don't end up doing well in the gaming market. It seems like either the "horror" game in question becomes shooting ducks in a barrel with plenty of ammunition or the scares couldn't scare a toddler.

Right now one of the most popular horror games features pizza restaurant animatronics. If that doesn't show a need for diversity in the horror genre i don't know what will.

Thanks to Tomasz Dutkiewicz we may have that diversity in Sacred Agony.

In Sacred Agony you play in one of three forms. the Ethereal Soul, the Martyr and the Demon. As the Soul you can possess demon and human alike to do your bidding as you explore the depths of hell. You may possess a demon to engage in combat with the horrors of hell.

You may also find times you need to possess other humans, the martyrs in order to solve puzzles or make traps. Explore the story within as you figure out why you are in hell in the first place, maybe you will even find a few angels in secret areas to figure out the secrets of this story.
