Kickstarter Hopeful - ChemCaper: The World's First Chemistry RPG
Kids games already have it hard enough in a lot of games media as it is, but educational games are usually glossed over without a second thought. Who can blame anyone though? Most educational games forget the fun element to games. So can a turn based battle RPG teach kids about chemistry? ACE EdVenture Studios believes they can make it fun and educational with ChemCaper: The World's First Chemistry RPG.
You play as Roub Idyum, a moon being who gets thrown into the lush world of Camp Ungku upon rumors that a glowing, mysterious being was there. However Roub gets tied into a battle with mysterious evil beings turning "petticles" into sinister creatures. Roub now bears the weight of his world on his shoulders to save his world and the people in it.

This game is the dream of a group of teachers, according to the Kickstarter Page:
The more engaging and interactive the learning process, the easier it is for kids to recall information (far cooler lessons than mere textbooks!). The dream is for kids to explore Chemistry – without the true nature of the learning actually registering. Shhhh... Ultimately, it would be great to hear them exclaim in class: “Wait a minute, I know this!”
While we have no demo to speak of yet we have plenty of gameplay example videos to showcase the idea. Can this game keep fun as a top priority and let the education happen naturally?
