Kickstarter of Note: Deep Flare Explorer

Deep Flare Explorer is a space exploration game being released at a time of many space exploration games. So what are BTSeven doing to make their game stand out? Well, in a twist that we've not seen before, their game is set in a much more familiar location, namely our very own solar system.

You play as William S. Anderson, captain of a ship exploring beyond the "Deep Flare", which is an anomaly threatening our solar system. Your decisions could impact on the future of all life on earth, meaning your mission is quite literally a matter of life and death. Stylised with a seamless pixel art universe, you must explore and uncover secrets that might help save the world.

At the time of writing, the Kickstarter campaign is underway, with €1,137
pledged of the €45,000 goal. If they are successful, BTSeven are hoping to be able to launch the game in May 2017.
