Land Of The Vikings Is Sailing Out Of Early Access!

Land of the Vikings, the Viking survival colony sim from Laps Games and Iceberg Interactive, first entered Early Access in November 2022, fixing and refining the formula based on player feedback and lessons learned. Now, almost a year and countless updates and patches later, they are ready to release the first official release of the game!

In the game, you must endure the harsh elements and navigate the treacherous terrain of the Viking age, collecting resources and managing your burgeoning settlement. Each villager will have unique characteristics and skills, leaving it up to you to assign them to the most suitable task! As your settlement grows, more Vikings will petition to join, while your current villagers will form families of their own.

Build your settlement as you see fit, with no restrictions on placements! Edit houses to suit your look and make them your own! As you progress, you will be able to unlock new buildings from the Ygrdassil tech tree: dive into the art of beer brewing, establish a cosy Tavern for your villagers to unwind, or invest in goat farming, the choice is yours! But beware, the elements can and will make life tough for even the toughest of Vikings.

To celebrate the upcoming release of version 1.0., the current Early Access price of 16.75£ will be extended by a week after release, during which the game will also be on a 25% discount. After this period, the game will move onto the full price of about 21£, so if you or a friend is on the fence, now is the perfect time!

Land of the Vikings will exit Early Access on 9th October.
