You know how on a lot of TV shows, there's a dramatic intro announcing what happened last week? Well we don't have one of those, or at least we didn't. Now we do, so we can recap what happened over the last week, catching you up on all the stuff that you might have missed in the week just gone.

Reviews and Previews

We've had a number of reviews and previews for your entertainment this week. Among them, Tom gave his thoughts on the Hitman Beta currently running. The game is being released episodically with the first episode due next month.

Kieran looked into Layers of Fear to see how scary it was beneath the surface, while Andrew tried point-and-click classic Grim Fandango Remastered. Vodka took a look at upcoming sci-fi themed survival game, Deliver us the Moon, and Steven looked at hidden object puzzler Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink.

News

The week started with a warning about security as Bundle Stars spotted some unusual activity on account and reset everyone's password. A stark reminder that we should all be careful with our passwords.

There was good news for Sci-Fi fans as the voice cast of the Master of Orion was announced. The cast includes some very large name actors including Michael Dorn and Mark Hamill.

The upcoming PS Plus line-up was announced. First we got the announcement that the Vote-to-Play game was Broforce. Then the rest of the line up came later in the week.

A new record for beta player numbers was set as players enjoyed the pre-release version of the upcoming shooter from Ubisoft's upcoming shooter Tom Clancy's The Division.

With 2016 set to the be the year of VR, HTC and Valve announced details of their Vive headset. Price and launch date were both confirmed.

Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob characters are set to get their own game. The title was announced as a crowd funding project earlier in the week.

Good news for Baseball fans eagerly awaiting Out of the Park Baseball 2017. The line up for the management simulator was announced this week.

And Finally

Last, but not least, this weeks podcast featured a somewhat controversial topic. We discussed the Gamergate controversy and looked to see a few years on, have we learnt anything from it?
