League of Legends' Community Revives Riot Games' Client-based Gameplay in New Website
Ever since the new launch of the League of Legends' three-Seasonal approach, the team has been putting more effort into everything regarding lore and things outside of the actual MOBA experience. From motion comics to in-client mini-games, they've been working on expanding the Runeterra universe, bringing it more to life outside of just shows (like Arcane).
Of course, each new Season brings a new game mode, new champions, and a slew of other things, but for the lore buffs and Runeterra lovers, the motion comics and the mini-games have been a big thing to feel more like part of the universe. While this was what players expected from the Riot Forge publisher, it at least survives in a new form... to an extent.
Ever since the release of Aurora, The Witch Between Worlds all the way back on the 17th of July 2024, the client has been getting new games and mini-games to immerse players into the universe... but there was a catch. After their original launch period, and once the new Season came in, they were removed, unable to be experienced again.

Though it began all the way back with Aurora, it picked up steam and traction with Jinx Fixes Everything, which saw players take part in the Arcane universe whenever Jinx wasn't on-screen, doing some lore-specific things. But once Arcane Season 2 came to a close and Season 1 Act 1: Welcome to Noxus kicked off, it disappeared, replaced later by the Balatro-like The Demons Hand.
While these haven't been available, the person behind the League of Legends SkinSpotlights YouTube channel has found a way to reverse-engineer these mini-games and link them back to their source, giving users who missed out on it a chance at trying them once again.
Currently, the website has the motion comics (which were added to the official YouTube channel, too, but these come with the interactability of clicking to pass to the next) and three mini-games. Here's everything that you can try:
- The Spirit of Hearth-Home
- Jinx Fixes Everything: Act 1 - Arcade
- Jinx Fixes Everything: Act 2 - The Last Drop
- Jinx Fixes Everything: Act 3 - Firelight Base
- The Bringer of Ruin Motion Comic
- The Fourth Principle Motion Comic
- The Demons Hand Minigame
- Pilgrimage Motion Comic
- The Devoted Shrine Maiden Motion Comic
If you'd like to give these a try, you can do so on the website right here!
