'LEGO Super Mario' Teased by Nintendo

Nintendo has teased a partnership between itself and the toy company LEGO via an official tweet from Nintendo of America. A short seven-second video, accompanying the tweet, shows part of what appears to be a Mario minifigure and a "LEGO Super Mario" logo.

It's unclear whether this partnership will just produce traditional LEGO toys or fully-fledged LEGO Mario games. In recent years, Nintendo has grown more comfortable with lending its characters and licences to external companies: Luigi's Mansion 3, for example, was developed by Next Level Games, not Nintendo, so it wouldn't be unprecedented to see LEGO take a stab at their own Mario title.

 All will, presumably, become clear soon.
