Life is Strange Devs Provide Emotional Support
Life is Strange is a game all about making hard, long-reaching choices. Some gamers have criticised it for not warning of how emotional these might make you feel, despite the fact that would be like the first Goomba Mario jumps on saying "Bet she isn't in this castle!".
So Life Is Strange developers DONTNOD have done the next best thing, and set up a page you can go to if it gets too much, to get some emotional support.
Similar to how some episodes of Emmerdale end with the Samaritans Helpline, the page lists similar suicide prevention helplines across 14 countries. Find the list here. And if you need to use it, please do.
For the UK:
If you’ve been affected by any of the issues you’ve seen in Life Is Strange and you want to talk to someone you can contact Samaritans on 08457 909090 or email them at jo@samaritans.org they are there for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and happy to talk off the record. You don’t have to be suicidal.
