Lithic- A Prehistoric Real Time Strategy

Created by Flintlock Studio, Lithic is an real time strategy game set within the Stone Age. With combinations of fantasy and RPG elements, Lithic is up on Kickstarter and looking for backers.

The game is centered around leading a tribe of creatures through the Stone Age into a thriving civilization. With fantasy creatures and magic, players will construct and advance through the age. What gives Lithic it's identity from other games such as Spore is an added RPG element. Players can go through skill and tech trees for each individual tribe member. This means that each individual in the tribe will gradually gain their own role in society and have a unique job. The added micromanaging of the game is reduced by having the members of the tribe not under direct control having an AI which leads them to act according to their skills. 

While the game appears to still be in early development, it looks to have promise by adding a more personal touch. With most modern RTS being focused around troops and the base as a whole, Lithic will hopefully create a personal environment where each member of the tribe is unique based on the decisions of the player.
