Little Mac Punches Into Super Smash Bros. 4

Little Mac, the star of the infamous boxing franchise Punch Out! has been announced for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

This will be his first appearance in the Smash Bros. series, making him the fifth new entry to the franchise in the upcoming instalment. The other four are: Villager from Animal Crossing, the trainer from Wii Fit, Rosalina & Luma from Super Mario Galaxy and, of course, Mega Man.

Based on the announce trailer, Little Mac seems to be a small and fast fighter complete with some kind of chargeable Smash attack and counter manoeuvres.

The new Super Smash Bros. still has no release date, but the 3DS and Wii U versions are expected to be released simultaneously sometime this year.
