Major New Update to SMITE

The latest update to SMITE brings a new collection of features for players, including a new god to play as. Jing Wei,  a hunter, who comes from the Chinese pantheon has now been added to the game. Her abilities are largely air based, and she's an agile and speedy combatant. Alongside her addition to the game comes a collection of new skins for gods, new voice packs and avatars. There's also a new in-game event called Escape from the Underworld.

Escape from the Underworld will run for four weeks in the PC version of SMITE, and will feature a new themed Arena map while players are able to earn special rewards for playing weekly quests including five exclusive skins. A new 60-second Arena bonus round has also been added, with additional match rewards for the winning team. This event will also run on PS4 and Xbox One versions of SMITE but these versions haven't yet been given release dates.
