Climb in to those rocket boots, strap on that stripy shield and sharpen those arrows. Marvel's Avengers, the long-awaited videogame adaptation of the 21st century's hottest heroes is almost here. In the latest 'WAR TABLE' stream (found above), Square Enix outlined what the game's beta will include and when it will take place on each respective platform:
PlayStation 4 players who pre-order the game will gain access to the beta on the 9th August. Those who don't pre-order (read: every other PlayStation 4 owner) will gain access to the beta on the 14th August. All PlayStation 4 owners will then lose access to the beta on 16th August.
On Xbox One and PC, only players who pre-ordered the game can access the beta; it'll run from the 14th August to 16th August.
Finally, all players on all three platforms (regardless of pre-order status) can access the beta from the 21st August to 23rd August.
Got that? Good.
Marvel's Avengers is planned for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC on 4th September 2020. A PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release is also planned for later this year.
