Mobile Games Out This Week: 23/12/16

We spend all week scrounging around for cool new iOS and Android game releases. Then, every Friday, we put together a list of them to share with you. How awesome is that?

Hint: it’s pretty awesome.

Just so you know, it’s not an exhaustive list. Rather, it covers the games that most stand out to us. Enjoy this week’s games!

Top Pick: RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic

rctycoon

Other RCT titles have hit the mobile scene in the past, but I don't think it's possible to have too much RCT in your life. This new release pulls the best features from RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, and there's a ton of content for a very reasonable price. You also have the option to grab three expansion packs as in-app purchases: Wacky Worlds, Time Twister, and Toolkit.

Create your own awesome themeparks on iOS or Android.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier

More of The Walking Dead? Yes, please. This new installment centers on a young man named Javier and delves into how his fate intertwines with Clementine’s. Plus, for a limited time, you can grab the second episode for free.

Start making the tough decisions now on iOS, or wait a bit for the Android release.

Snowball!!

Snowball!! Is a winter-themed pinball game that features beautiful pixel art and all of the obstacles you’d expect to find in a winter wonderland. It’s advertised as beginner and expert-friendly, so all pinball fans should feel right at home.

You can grab this one on iOS.

Bor's Adventures

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ryvOjKdATQ

This Mario-like platformer puts you in the boots of Bor, and he's on a quest to save his 60 wives (yeah, Bor gets around). Travel to new lands, collect coins, and slice monsters with your axe as you try to find them all.

Go wife-collecting now on iOS.

Bullet Force

I don't expect much from FPS games on mobile, but Bullet Force looks much better than most. It has four multiplayer modes (conquest, gun game, free for all, and team deathmatch) and includes both open and password-protected game lobbies.

Join in on the action on iOS or Android.

Island Delta

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLvccH261uk

In Island Delta, you get to destroy enemies with an anti-gravity gun as you solve challenging puzzles and make your way to the final showdown with a bad guy named Doctor Gunderson. There are no in-app purchases to deal with, it has 30 levels, and it even includes iCloud support.

Island Delta is available now on iOS.
