Mobile RPG Heroes of Incredible Tales Breaks 50,000 Pre-Registrations

Mobile RPG Heroes of Incredible Tales Breaks 50,000 Pre-Registrations

Nexon and NAT Games have released a brand new trailer for their upcoming action RPG, HIT (Heroes of Incredible Tales), that showcases the visual spectacle of the title, in addition to highlighting the varied character roster. The game is designed with modern, high end mobile devices in mind and the company are trying to compete graphically with fully fledged home titles

The game utilises the mobile version of the Unreal 4 Engine, so the company’s claim of “AAA visuals” might not be too far off the mark. It’ll be coming to both Android and iOS users in the summer. The lead designer on the game is Yong-Hyun Park, creator of Lineage II and TERA, so we can hope for a game of the same quality this time round.

With a combat style seeming a lot like a spectacle fighter, the game moves at a blistering pace. In the words of the developers themselves: "Fast and fluid combat lies at the core of the HIT experience, and as aerial combos are executed, foes thrown and pushed down the action doesn’t let up – delivering an intensely satisfying experience, both mechanically and visually."

The game recently went over 50,000 pre-registered users, each guaranteed to receive unique in-game rewards for doing to. That pre-registration is now open to players in the west, meaning that even more are expected to get on board. The system works in a similar manner to the canned “augmented” pre-order scheme that Square Enix attempted with the new Deus Ex title. The more people pre-register, the more everyone gets. You can join in with the 50,000+ by signing up at hitmobile.nexon.com.
