Monster Hunter Rise Comes to Everything Else

Monster Hunter Rise Comes to Everything Else

It has recently been announced that Monster Hunter Rise is coming out on all the other consoles available for this generation, which is a first for the series. Having sold over 11 million copies on the Nintendo Switch and Steam, it’s no surprise that releasing it to the other consoles will allow new and old fans of Monster Hunter to finally experience this entry. Not only that, it will come with 60 FPS and 4K resolution for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 and 3D audio for Xbox X|S and PlayStation 5. PlayStation 5 players will also be able to feel their shields deflect monster roars and ranged weapons fire with adaptive triggers.

Monster Hunter Rise launches for Xbox X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on the 20th of January 2023.

Be advised, however, this is only for Monster Hunter Rise, not for both the base game and the Sunbreak expansion. If you want to play through Master Rank, you’ll have to wait until Spring 2023.

But before you pick it up, read our reviews for both Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak  expansion so you’ll know what you’re getting into.
