New Details for Dawn of the Monsters

On the 4th of November, the trailer for Dawn of the Monsters was released on the Wayforward YouTube channel.

Dawn of the Monsters is an upcoming giant-monster beat-'em-up game, in which you'll be able to play as one of four behemoths in more than 35 missions.

The player will be enlisted in DAWN (Defense Alliance Worldwide Network), an elite organization tasked to stop giant, invading beasts known as the Nephilim, alone or with a friend. As a member of DAWN, the player will be able to take control of one of the four titans, each with a unique move-set and abilities. Megadon, the fire-breathing lizard; Ganira, the crustacean colossus; Aegis Prime, a giant superhero; and Tempest Galahad, the massive mech specialized in long-range electrical attacks.

Each of the playable titans has a variety of skills, including Rage skills (some that inflict elemental damage), a meter-based Cataclysm attack, and a brutal Execution finisher. Of course, when that isn't enough, the player can rip a building out of the ground and use it to hammer the Nephilim into the ground.

DAWN will task the player with going around the globe to fully destructible environments, such as Egypt, Japan, Canada, and more. In these cities, the player will have to tear through hordes of enemies, obliterate the monster's nest, battle the gargantuan bosses, and earn DNA augments that will be used to power up their abilities and stats.

The beat-'em-up action is supported by a team of incredible talent. In addition to the giant-monster enthusiasts at 13AM games, the game will feature Kaiju designed by Shiji Nishikawa, the brilliant mind behind Godzilla, Matt Frank, the comic-book artist of the same character, as well as other big names like EJ Su, AmaLee, Cristina Valenzuela, Xander Mobus, Patrick Seitz, and more!

This thrilling monster-against-monster game is set to arrive digitally on consoles and PC early on in 2022, with the physical edition being offered by Limited Run Games.
