New DLC for Two Worlds II, Two Worlds III in Development
It's a good news day for fans of Reality Pump's RPG series Two Worlds. The Polish developer have announced two big releases for the series. There improvements coming and a new DLC pack for the second game in the series, which is exciting enough in itself. But they didn't stop there, announcing that they're also developing another full blown sequel to the game as well for release in 2019.
We haven't got a great deal of information on Two Worlds III just yet as they company say it is still in the planning stages. They've stated that work has officially started and they will be getting their creative juices flowing over the next 36 months.
In the meantime though, players can satisfy themselves with enhancements to Two Worlds II. There's a major new engine coming to align the old game with the upcoming new installment so everything will look nicer to start with, but prettier visual aren't the only thing that might draw you back into playing, we can expect to see eight new multiplayer maps and two new DLC packs.
The first DLC, entitled Two Worlds II: Call of the Tenebrae will be available at the end of Q2 2016 and focuses on the Hero’s return to Antaloor, where he witnesses the shocking murder of DarPha. The killers are a never-before-seen tribe of hideous, rat-like creatures known only as “The Chosen”, who control a mysterious, powerful new magic. Their genocidal plot threatens every living creature in Antaloor, and it’s up to the Hero to find a way to stop them.
The second DLC is titled Two Worlds II: Shattered Embrace. This is another area that Reality Pump have yet to fill us in on as the story and release date of this are currently a secret, but we'll keep our ears up for any news and report it back to you here at GameGrin as soon as we have it.
