New Dragon Quest Game Already in Production

During this weekend's Nico Nico Super Conference Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horri announced that Square Enix is already underway with the development of a new Dragon Quest game, much to the surprise ofDragon Quest X producter Yosuke Saito and chief planner Anzai Takasi, spectators commented.

Beyond this tidbit of information no further details have been given to the press, however recent trademarks placed by Square Enix in America for "Luminaries of the Legendary Line" and Seeds of Salvation, which follow Dragon Quest's tradition for alliterative titles have been rumoured to be for upcoming or unreleased Dragon Quest games, although they could be for unreleased titles on the Wii, WiiU, Nintendo 3DS or Android / iOS phone ports of existing titles.

The most recent Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest X is a MMORPG that was launched on the Wii and the WiiU, but is currently a Japan exclusive title.
