New DualShock 4 Attachment Will Add More Buttons to the Controller
If you’ve ever felt that the DualShock 4 controller could use more buttons (specifically placed on the back), then you’re in luck, as a new attachment for the controller has recently been announced.

This new attachment is simply called “DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment”, and it clips into the bottom of the controller allowing players to map two additional buttons of their choosing for more efficient playing. For example, someone could map the Square and Circle buttons to the two additional back buttons, or L2 and R2. These buttons can be mapped in any combination of a player’s choosing.

The attachment is being advertised towards more competitive players who are looking to maximise their performance during games, meaning that it will likely have a niche appeal.
The DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment launches in the US on 23rd January for $29.99 USD and $39.99 CAD. It will launch a little bit later in Europe on 14th February for €29.99.
