New Kerbal Space Program 2 Video Shows Vastly Improved Planets

Intercept Games have released a brand new developer video for the upcoming Kerbal Space Program 2. During the video they ponder the mysterious anomalies of our galaxy and how they have influenced the design of the planets and celestial bodies seen in the dynamic space simulation sequel.

Every planet has something to discover with the addition of advanced scatter and terrain details. Colossal mountain ranges and vast, arid deserts are amongst the wide range of environments, with more complex celestial bodies than ever before, all providing unique challenges and memorable journeys for every player. There have been some huge leaps forward in design from the original game that fans will be left in awe of.

In the developer video you'll find details about exploring the celestial bodies, learning about the various planets you might discover on your voyage into the great unknown. One of the most interesting parts is that all of these fictitious planets are not only potentially real within our own galaxy, but are based on guidance from astrophysicists such as Dr. Joel Green.

Kerbal Space Program 2 is shaping up to be a big improvement over its predecessor when it's released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2022.
