New NieR: Automata Tie-In Novel Announced For Western Release

Square Enix have announced a new novel set in the NieR: Automata universe that will be getting an English publication in 2020. 

Titled NieR: Automata YoRHa Boys, the story is set before the events of the game and follows YoRHa Experimental Unit M. This team is made up of YoRHa male type models that was set up to collect behavioral data. 

NieR: Automata YoRHa Boys is being written by Jun Eishima, who has worked on several of the Drakengard novels. Series creator, Yoko Taro, is supervising the novel and artist Toshiyuki Itahana is provided the artwork for the novel. 

NieR: Automata YoRHa Boys is set to release in the West in Fall 2020. NieR: Automata is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
