New Sims 4 Update to Neighborhood System

New Sims 4 Update to Neighborhood System

New content for The Sims 4's Neighborhood System has been announced, which aims to bring life to the other Sims that aren't the active household even more.

Here are the incoming improvements:

  • Sims will adopt younger Sims into their household.
  • Become pregnant.
  • Adopt a pet.
  • Join or leave careers, Elder Sims will also retire.
  • Move into or out of lots.
  • Die in different ways depending on their Age, Traits, and Careers.

Additionally, players will have the option to independently configure Sims, meaning that they can enable or disable each type of life changes down to specific households.

To keep things even more interesting, players will receive live feed of the happenings of recent Neighborhood Stories interactions via mailbox, and if they wish to see the changes in action, they can visit the Sims affected by them.

And lastly, Sim fans can look forward to The Sims 4 Décor to the Max Kit, the latest kit made for those looking to upgrade any room's look. Bold, bright décor will be the centre of this latest collection. The Décor to the Max Kit will launch on the 21st of March for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Origin and Steam.
