New Steam Sales of 17th of January 2026

In a recent change launched on Steam, the platform gave developers and publishers the opportunity to create their own "events" within the store itself. While not officially ran by Valve itself, teams can release their own large-scale sales and events featuring all sorts of titles at a discount, alongside sometimes free titles and the opportunity to check out some demos.

There are, sometimes, dozens of these live at the same time, and it's hard to keep track of them. This is precisely what makes the feeling that there is always something at a significant discount over on the store page, but it's sometimes challenging to keep up with the new sales launching at any given time.

Kodansha's Publisher Sale

Publisher Kodansha is a publisher of indie game projects who has released 24 titles on Steam overall. With the team's latest sale, you can pick up some titles, including some of their most famous ones, such as BOKURA, Rise of Rebellion～地罰上らば竜の降る～, and FAIRY TAIL: DUNGEONS!

The sale will run until the 31st of January 2026.

GrabTheGames Publisher Sale

• Products on sale: 25 products

GrabTheGames is quite a large publisher, having released 135 titles over on Steam, and with seven upcoming releases under its belt. Some of these are highly successful indies, such as Ale & Tale Tavern, Outpath, and Exoplanet: First Contact, all of which you can pick up at varying discounts throughout the sale!
