Niantic Defend Recent Pokémon GO Changes

On a post to the official Pokémon GO Facebook page, Niantic outlined the changes in the recent app update.

The removal of the 3-step indicator is to "improve the underlying design". It will be coming back, once they have made some changes that they will keep people informed about.

The disabling of third party services, such as the website Pokevision which showed when and where Pokémon would appear, has been due to them "interfering with our ability to maintain quality of service for our users and to bring Pokémon GO to users around the world."

They finish with reiterating their desire to launch the game globally, and appear to be working towards bringing it to Brazil next.
