Nintendo's New President Announced

After the passing of the much loved Satoru Iwata. Current head of Human Resources, Tatsumi Kimishima has been announced to be the next president of Nintendo. 

In a statement (if you can read Japanese) made this morning, Nintendo have said as of Wednesday, 16th of September Kimishima will be president.

Tatsumi Kimishima has had a long history with Nintendo, he was Nintendo of America's boss from 2002 to 2006, where the role was handed to current boss, Reggie Fils-Aimé. He previously worked in banking in Japan and was the Chief Financial Officer at The Pokémon Company.

Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Wii designer Genyo Takeda will assist Tatsumi Kimishima's transition, but even with their help he has some big shoes to fill.
