No Man's Sky Won't Require PlayStation Plus

No Man's Sky is probably the most-hyped game this year - whether you're looking forward to it or not. With the online aspect of the procedurally-generated action/adventure, the community has been wondering whether it will require PlayStation Plus to enjoy. 

Well, thanks to this tweet from Game Informer's Australian Editor David Milner, we now know!

Just confirmed with Sony: you don't need PS Plus to play No Man's Sky online. Some readers were confused by the language on this. Good news.

Huzzah! Although whilst you won't need PS+ to waste the hours away in space, you will need access to the internet if you want your discoveries registered. So there you have it, may your worries be eased. And for those of you less excited for the game...move along, nothing to see here.
