P1R4T3S, Space-Age Pirating Roguelite Releases Later This Month

Tune-up that plasma flintlock and prepare to take to the stars with laser cutlass in hand for P1R4T3S' Steam Early Access release on 31st January. This next release from Blini Games combines space-faring adventuring with the  swashbuckling pirate spirit in a twin-stick, roguelite, loot-filled shooter.

Players will take to the stars in a variety of vessels —looting, shooting and pillaging as they go. Resistance will be fierce, but if they want to customise their ship, crew and equipment with the best space-pirate technology, they'll have to fight some of the galaxy's roughest and toughest foes. Resources found aboard enemy ships can also be used to build up a formidable pirate base.

Future updates to P1R4T3S will bring prisoner-capturing mechanics; it's up to the player to decide whether they should sell, ransom or just keep their captives. As well as this, an upcoming co-op mode will let friends take on the galaxy together.
