Payday 2's 2018 Spring Break Event Begins on 23rd April

Overkill Software is hosting a new event for Payday 2. Over a seven-day period, new content will be released in daily chunks for free.

The Swedish developer holds events like this twice a year, with Spring Break being held usually in March/April time whereas Crimefest takes place in October. As well as new content, the announcement also teases competitions and discounts on the game and DLC.

Overkill is also currently moving the base game of Payday 2 out of its Ultimate Edition bundle, due to issues with Steam's gifting process. The price of the bundle will be reduced by about £15. You can read more about the changes here.

The Spring Break 2018 event will begin at 5pm CEST on April 23rd and run until the 29th.
