Phasmophobia Promises Phantoms Aplenty in Their 2025 Development Map!
Though we've seen quite a few co-op investigatory titles featuring either hunting or being hunted by something unnatural, Phasmophobia is still going strong over four years after its release. Featuring update after update, it's hard to believe this title is still sitting in Early Access! Regardless, Kinetic Games have given us a sneaky look into the planned new features coming with the turning of the year.
First up, the [REDACTED] update will overhaul the current Photos menu. Instead of Polaroids, intrepid hunters will now also be able to capture video footage of the supernatural as well as using the all-new tool the Sound Recorder, to record anything going bump in the night! As an additional change, the new Media tab in the journal will no longer give points based on quality, but uniqueness. So if you we're looking forward to filling it up with Voodoo Doll's , you're out of luck.
Next up, one of the staple haunted houses in Phasmophobia, Bleasdale Farmhouse, is getting a bit of a facelift with a brand new layout, completely new areas, and a visual update! Expect to find new haunts both in and outdoors, whilst also enjoying the charming Tea Room. Surely nothing bad can happen in there...?
Finally, Kinetic Games ends their look into our coming year with an ominous reminder... Bleasdale isn't the only farmhouse around.

I have to say I'm obsessed with this game! I have four boys and we all play together and invite friends as well. I think an amazing update to consider would be a haunted mansion with 6-8 players, maybe multiple ghosts, one for each "wing" or "floor". This game is fantastic and has so many cool features. BRAVO to the dev's!!! Thanks for reading and I hope this game lasts like COD.
