Physics-based Hack and Slash Awaysis Announces Co-op

Developed by 17-BIT and published by CULT Games, Awaysis is an upcoming hack-and-slash title where players will have to restore peace to the titular area from a great darkness. Incorporating heavy physics-based gameplay, explore a mixture of new and old technology to bring the world to life.

The gameplay itself is a dungeon brawler where players will take control of the experimental technology to jump, slide, and collide against monsters of varying sizes. The great forces of darkness attacking Awaysis will need to be stopped, and it's up to you to alone to defeat them... or is it?

In the latest press release by the team, we got to learn a bit about the upcoming title's co-op functionality. Awaysis is in danger, but you're not going to have to defend it on your own — you'll be able to be accompanied by up to three other players to save the day.
