Plan B: Terraform's Version 1.0 Launch Date is Revealed
Gaddy Games has announced that Plan B: Terraform will be leaving Early Access on Steam. Coinciding with the release date reveal is the beginning of Steam Automation Fest, which runs now until 21st July, so it's the perfect time to try out the demo!
But first, let's talk a bit more about Plan B: Terraform. The entire Early Access period has been marked by a continuous evolution, seeing overhauled levels and objectives, new transportation systems, and improvements to UI and terrain. So now, Gaddy Games is ready to deliver the complete version.
In the game, you'll be in charge of turning a lifeless rock into a habitable, thriving planet. You'll build factories, deploy supply chains, and raise cities from small settlements into thriving metropolises. But remember, everything you do will influence the climate of your planet. You can construct greenhouse gas generators to raise temperatures, release underground sources of frozen water to create running rivers and oceans, and plant forests across a dynamic, simulated ecosystem.
With the release of 1.0, there will be new ways to shape your world and bring it to life. There will be a new way to experience it, with new perspectives to see from. Your creative tools will allow you full control over your environment, and you'll find new wildlife as your ecosystem flourishes. Alongside these, you'll also find new music tracks also revealed at launch, that will match the redesigned user experience.
Also to adjust to the user experience is a mixture of multi-selection and undo tools, as well as more environmental realism. As a science-driven simulation, this sci-fi sandbox will allow you to engage with insights into climate systems and sustainability.
So, if you're interested, check out the demo during Steam Automation Fest. And hey, if you like it, then version 1.0 of Plan B: Terraform will launch on 29th August.
