PlayStation 4 Has Risen In Price In Canada

Canadians who don't already own a PS4 will get a surprise when they finally track one down - a surprise of getting to pay $50 more for it.

Sony Computer Entertainment Canada have announced that due to "changes in the market environment", the price of the console has has to rise from $399.99 to $449.99.  This is after a similar rise on the price of games for the PS4 and Xbox One back in January, where they went from $59.99 to $64.99.  Surprisingly, they also stated that inFAMOUS: Second Son and MLB 14 The Show will go on sale for $69.99.

Other price hikes have been levelled at both the DualShock 4 controller and Camera, raising the prices from $59.99 to $64.99.

Microsoft have said there are no plans for a similar price increase for the Xbox One in Canada.
