PlayStation Talents Unveils New PlayStation 5 Exclusives from Small Spanish Studios
Eight new games have been announced for release in 2021 as part of Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain's PlayStation Talents scheme. They are:
Antro
Gatera Studio
A 2.5D puzzle platformer set in a bleak underground post-apocalyptic society. Play as teenager Nittch as he journeys to deliver a package to his sister in the upper-class echelons of society.
Aurora's Journey
The Not So Great
Four years after his disappearance and assumed death, Aurora discovers that her father is alive and in-need of rescue. Venture out and save him in this side-scrolling shooter set in a 3D world.
Luto
Broken Bird Games
A narrative adventure that reflects on depression and anxiety using the setting of maze-like prison.
NeonHat
Entalto Studios
A PlayStation VR title in which players will effortlessly traverse cyberspace in style, avoiding the dangerous megacorporations that dominate and delivering valuable information to the highest bidders.
One Last Breath
Moonatic Studios
A puzzle platforming tale in which the fate of humanity is in jeopardy at the hands of a deadly man-made virus.
Rivalia: Dungeon Riders
Fsix Games
A procedurally-generated action RPG where players control a band of four warriors and fight through a collection of dungeons for honour, glory and—of course—loot.
System of Souls
Chaotic Lab
A narrative puzzle adventure with action elements set in the environmentally ravaged future of 2050. System of Soul tells the story of a L-064N, a robot who reawakens without memory and must escape the mysterious facility they find themselves in.
Welcome to Empyreum
A quirky co-op party game in which up to four players must clean up the rooms, corridors and crevices of the Empyreum Hotel. Expect mysterious stains, unruly VIPs and a few ex-guest ghosts along the way!
PlayStation Talents is Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain's program intended bolster Spanish creativity and the country's games development output. It comprises a number of individual schemes including PlayStation First, The PlayStation Games Camp, The PlayStation Awards and PlayStation Alliances. All of these unique initiatives seek to, in some way, encourage, promote or nurture the Spanish games industry.
All of the aforementioned PlayStation Talents titles are due for release in 2021.
