Plug-And-Play N64 HDMI Adaptor Releasing in July

The team behind the HD adaptors for the GameCube (titled GCHD and GCHD Mk-II) are bringing their expertise to Nintendo’s earlier 3D system with the Super 64.

The announcement comes in the way of a trailer showcasing the ease of use of the adaptor. As the name implies, it simply plugs into the back of an original Nintendo 64, acting as an HDMI port. The device not only allows the console to have compatibility with an HD-only television, but it also gives a slight bump to the resolution, increasing it to 480p.

The Super 64 is launching on 22nd July for $149.99. News on a PAL release is stated to be coming soon.
