Plunder Pirates Out on Android

Rovio Entertainment has announced the availability of Plunder Pirates on Android systems, with the game a free download (driven by in-app purchases of course).

Plunder Pirates has been quite popular since its launch on the iOS App Store last year, scoring an aggregate of 4 1/2 stars across reviews for all versions so far.

The game offers players a chance to build and battle pirate crews with those of their own, or take part in multiplayer battles. It also features a 3D engine, with a camera that allows the player to adjust the view to get a better sense of the looting action going on.
