Pornhub Report Fallout 4 Related Traffic Dip
Second most popular pornographic site on the web, Pornhub, has revealed Google Analytic data showing the effect that the release of Fallout 4 had on their traffic. There's a noticeable dip in the early hours after the game came out, indicating that once their download had completed, gamers deserted the site in droves in favour of playing their new game instead.

At peak, traffic had dropped by a full 10% compared to the usual average for the time. There was also a noticeable increase between midnight and 4AM; suggesting that impatient gamers decided they might as well do something if they were gonna be sat at their computers while they waited for the download to finish (apparently not everyone took advantage of the preload option)
It's not all bad news for the adult industry though. One enterprising sex toy company has started selling Fallout branded lubricant and searches for "fallout 4 porn" as well as "fallout rule 34" (The rule of the internet that dictates if it exists, there is porn of it) have both shot up.

I showed this piece to my fiance as I was writing. Her immediate response was "Oh dear, you geeks are weird"
I wish I could defend it but she's got a damn good point.

If you subscribe to certain subreddits, you haven't even had to do a search for "Fallout porn" over the past few months...
But then, it's not surprising. Those super mutants, am I right?
... guys?

In my defence, I wasn't LOOKING for Fallout branded lube. I was googling stuff about rabbits (that's not even an excuse, I was genuinely trying to work out the breed of our Bunnies!)
