Prototype On Xbox One Runs...Worse Than On 360?

Prototype's appearance on the Xbox One store took most of us by surprise, with absolutely no marketing leading up to the announcement. Thanks to the folks over at Digital Foundry, we now know why.

It appears that the Xbox One version of Prototype 2 runs worse than its Xbox 360 counterpart, with a lower framerate on average. The PlayStation 3 version of Prototype 2 also sports a superior framerate and doesn't suffer from tearing.

The original Prototype is a slightly better effort, but with the exception of a bump in resolution, there appears to be no tangible improvement; it's an incredibly disappointing effort overall.
