PS4 Software Update 2.50 Available Tomorrow

Sony has announced that system software update 2.50, codenamed "Yukimura", will be available from tomorrow.

With it, the update brings a host of highly anticipated updates to your PlayStation 4 console including updates to trophies, finding friends, and remote play.

One of the highlights that Yukimura will be bringing tomorrow will be the suspend/resume feature. This will be supported by almost every PlayStation 4 title and allows players to jump out of the game using the PS button, place the console into rest mode and jump straight back in where you left it when the console is powered up again.

Update 2.50 will also bring improvements for players will various disabilities. These will include customisable button mapping, zoom, inverted colours and text-to-speech for all parts of the graphical user interface. 

The PlayStation 4 was released back in 2013 and has already become one of the fastest selling games consoles of all time, reaching over 20 million units sold at the beginning of March 2015, just over 12-months into its life cycle.
