Ready At Dawn To Go Multiplatform

Ready At Dawn, developer of The Order: 1886, are to begin developing their games for multiple platforms.

The news comes as the studio have announced Blizzard's Paul Sams as the new CEO. Sams will focus on the business aspect of the studio, allowing Ru Weerasuriya, the now former CEO, to concentrate fully on developing new games.

Although Sams has reiterated Ready At Dawn's commitment to building great worlds in the AAA space, he's not ruling out smaller mobile titles as well.

Ru Weerasuriya also stressed the importance of retaining ownership of its IP. Sony's policy on IP ownership means that, as it stands, The Order: 1886 is in their hands and its future remains unclear.

There was no comment with regards to what the studio are currently working on, but it's safe to say that we won't be revisiting Galahad and 19th century London anytime soon.
