Rebellion Keep the Christmas Spirit Alive With Gifts for Woolfe Backers
Remember Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries? It was an ill-fated Kickstarter funded game originally published by GRIN Gamestudio (not related to us, just a co-incidence). Whilst the game was finished and shipped digitally, promised physical backer gifts such as art books, posters and the boxed version of the game never surfaced before the studio filed for bankruptcy.
From the ashes of that disaster though, came Rebellion. They acquired the rights to the game from the now defunct GRIN and promised to do their best to honour any remaining rewards not received, as well as work on the originally planned sequel.
Just like Santa's elves, Rebellion have worked hard to produce, pack and ship the final rewards just in time for Christmas in what will hopefully be a welcome surprise to the project’s most loyal backers. Chris Payton, head of Art for Rebellion, took to YouTube to show off the fruits of their labour and announce that the carefully designed art books and physical games will be in the post shortly, meaning that some players will get to unwrap them for Christmas.
