Red Goddess Kickstarter Hits Funding Target

Red Goddess Kickstarter Hits Funding Target

With ten days to go the Red Goddess Kickstarter project has met its $30,000 funding goal, guaranteeing the game's development. Yanim Studios have described the title as a 'psychological adventure game' in the vein of Metroid and Castlevania.

Red Goddess has already received the Greenlight from the Steam community and is due to appear on Mac and PC, as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and the Nintendo Wii U in March 2015

Red Goddess takes place in a setting governed by the main character's subconcious, with three playable characters who sport unique skills and abilities, including the ability to enter an enemy's mind in order to access secret areas and puzzles.

This is not the first time Red Goddess has appeared on Kickstarter with the previous project falling $30,000 short of its $50,000 goal. Whether the decreased funding requirement will adversely affect the game's length or content hasn't been mentioned, but stay tuned to GameGrin for any updates.
