Relive Middle-earth in Legendary Form

Daybreak Games invites players old and new to return to the fantasy world Middle-earth in the new Legendary Server for The Lord of the Rings Online.

Coming in November VIP subscribers have the opportunity to experience the MMO in a completely different way. Offering players an even footing for adventures to go solo or party up. Take the path of the Fellowship of the Ring and journey with Frodo and Gandalf.

Furthermore, progress has also been revamped in the Legendary server. Where the team at Daybreak Games provide “rolling content” which sees the players from level 1 to 50 experience the story based on Shadows of Angmar. From there on the level cap and story will expand over time. No doubt we’ll be seeing the return of the MMO’s expansions.

Becoming more of an extension of the original, the Legendary server will not only offer all the races and classes including High-elf, Rune-keeper, Warden, Beorning, but also all previously released UI fixes, updates and improvements from the vanilla experience. It doesn’t stop there, as the team will also be building upon this as well.

The Legendary server for The Lord of the Rings Online will be available to VIP subscribers starting in November. No confirmation on whether it’ll become available to free subscribers, which doesn’t seem likely.
