Johannes Roberts, most known for the 47 Meters Down series and The Strangers: Prey at Night, is no stranger to the horror genre. With an impressive cast list featuring names such as Kaya Scodelario and Neal McDonough in iconic roles like Claire Redfield and William Birkin, and with Roberts having previously said that he wanted to ‘recreate the terrifying visceral experience’ of the first two games, things are looking promising for the Resident Evil franchise.
